National Scenic Byway Nomination Documents
Completing the nomination documents for consideration to be designated a National Scenic Byway was a major undertaking. Though much of the information contained in the nomination documents is included in the Corridor Management Plan, it is presented in a slightly different format.

The original brick paving on the 1913 alignment of the Lincoln Highway through the community of Elkhorn has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

United States Department of the Interior National Park Service Special Resource Study / Lincoln Highway, 2004
History Nebraska partnered with the Nebraska Department of Transportation in an effort to identify the history and related resources of a selection of Nebraska’s historic highways. This report was published in 2002. The Lincoln Highway is covered in Chapter 3.
The Nebraska Department of Transportation published a turn-by-turn and mile-by-mile logbook of Nebraska’s highways in 2019. Below is a link to the Lincoln Highway (Highway 30) section.
